Well, after some radio silence we wanted you to know that we are all still alive and well at Camp Mooch. Things have been progressing with the betMooch website but we didn’t want to rush out an unfinished effort. So to keep your appetites moist and your powders dry we have been busy on a satellite site to coincide with the imminent Euro 2008 football tournament:

betMooch Euro 2008 Fantasy Footy is, as you may have guessed, a fantasy football site where you can pit your wits and show your managerial nouse/naivety when it comes to the beautiful game.

Pop along to choose your squad of eleven players, a semi-witty team name and sit back whilst our lab coat-donned monkeys calculate each score for the 368 players from 16 countries over 31 games in two countries and 22 days (even typing that made my brain numb). If so inclined you can even create custom leagues to compete against colleagues, friends, family, pets and rivals.

If you don’t know your football from your fruit bowl and think Perotti is a rather tasty alcoholic beverage (he’s an Italian midfielder BTW) then that nice chap Steve McClaren will even choose a random eleven for you in our lucky dip Can’t say fairer than that, can we?
